| | Well why do we learn martial arts? To fight someone if we find ourselves in a dangerous situation. Martial arts schools more or less make you learn how to fight for various reasons... They have a reputation to protect. You can get a lot of health benefits from martail arts and this is a great thing. FIghting is important... let's face it, martial arts is fighting. |

| | Did you know that Karate is from Japan? Karate has grown very well in the world today. Continues to grow. One form that comes to my mind about Karate is Kata's. They have a series of Kata's that is unlike other styles that is a training of a series of blocks and attacks that become more complex as you advance. They atart off very basic, like just one block in the beginning. The more advanced ones are multiple blocks and attacks. |
